The positioning, plainly
- Undercut existing big-market vendors. Every service below replaces a name-brand SaaS at 30–70% lower price. Same focused functionality, not the agency-grade feature bloat.
- One-to-one local support. You email me directly. I'm a real person in Indianapolis. No support queue, no "submit a ticket and someone will respond in 48 hours." Your relationship is with the engineer who runs the infrastructure.
- Community of local vendors. If you sign up for Bookings, you're on infrastructure shared with other Indy small operators — detailers, cleaners, trainers, designers, photographers. Cross-referrals happen naturally. Optional quarterly meetup events.
- Your data, your subdomain. Every service runs at
yourshop.darn-tech.com (or similar). You own your data, full CSV export anytime, no lock-in beyond the month you pay for.
- Build any stack from these pieces. Each service standalone, OR bundle 3-6 together as a package. Shuffling combinations is a half-day of operator work — we can build a stack out of any subset for any customer.
Services sorted by Indy small-biz addressable market
Honest about the estimates: TAM (Total Addressable Market) numbers below are estimates based on Indianapolis-area small-business demographics + incumbent-platform market share. They're meant to surface relative scale — "lots of Indy businesses use Google Analytics" is high-confidence; "exactly 12,400 Indy businesses use Google Analytics" is not a number we have. Use the tiers as a sequencing hint, not a sales forecast.

Build your own stack
Most customers won't want everything. The expected pattern is 1-3 services to start (most likely Bookings + Analytics if you have a customer-facing site, OR Newsletter + Analytics + Vault if you're audience-building, OR Bookings + Invoicing + Vault if you're a solo professional).
Once you're at 3+ services individually, the math usually tips into bundle territory (see Packages — 7 pre-built bundles with 10-40% savings). We can also build a custom bundle if your shape doesn't fit a published one — assembling any combination of services is a half-day of operator work on our side, no engineering effort per customer.
Why this exists alongside the AI/lab-automation work
The same infrastructure that runs DArnTech's lab-automation RAG pipelines and AI engineering customer engagements also runs your password vault and your booking surface. We built this stack for ourselves first — for DArnTech's own ops, for our own household services, for our own Phase 1 outreach round. The productized version sells what we already operate.
The local-Indy small-business angle isn't a pivot away from AI/lab-automation engineering — it's a parallel revenue line that compounds the infrastructure investment AND builds a community of Indianapolis vendors using the same stack. Cross-vendor referrals happen naturally when your customers are all running on infrastructure you can introduce them to each other through.
